Y&R....Did anyone think about?

After a child is adopted in my country, Canada, the parents have 6 mos to change their minds. After the 6 mos is up no one can take that child away from the new parents. It's final. I was adopted in 1947 and the period was 2 years. Can you imagine if you adopted a child, loved and cared for him/her for 2 years less a day and the birth parents came back into the picture and said I want that baby back? My Mom told me that if that had happened to her and my Dad, it would've killed them. After only 1 day, I was their child and they would've fought like crazy to keep me.
